The Processes

DNA transcription and translation are the amazing partners that bring genetic instructions to life!

Transcription starts this biological show by creating an RNA molecule from the DNA blueprint, making a copy of the essential instructions for life. This messenger RNA (mRNA) heads to the ribosome, the cellular kitchen, where translation happens. Ribosomes and transfer RNA (tRNA) work together to decode the mRNA and build long chains of proteins, the key components for all living things.
